The Journal of Energy Economics (ZfE) has been providing independent and scientifically based analyses for more than 40 years. Since the beginning of 2023, it has combined a research and a practical section. The research section contains scientific articles on energy industry and policy topics. The new practical section publishes news and articles to help classify new technologies and political and economic discussions.
In this way, ZfE contributes to taking scientific, practice-relevant findings beyond the public sector and the research community and into the corporate world. It is intended to serve as an information medium for lecturers, researchers and students in the energy industry as well as practitioners and consultants in administrations and industry.
